Our behavior change initiatives are customized according to each client’s utility reduction goals, regardless of size, structure, or current energy habits.
Beaumont Hospitals
Beaumont Hospitals teamed with 2rw to develop and implement its first campaign to employees about energy conservation strategies. The program’s multifaceted Energy Aware program used an interactive website, along with in-person events, to reach 18,000 employees on three hospital campuses.
Loudoun County (Residential)
2rw is on a team that is building the foundation for a Residential Energy Conservation and Outreach program in Loudoun County. Our team is running the first year of the Green Home program and is also assisting in long-term program planning.
The City of Atlanta
2rw assisted the City of Atlanta to implement the Power to Change campaign to motivate over 8,000 employees to take on energy efficient behaviors. The campaign was part of Mayor Shirley Franklin’s Sustainable Atlanta initiative, which focused on implementing energy and water conservation measures that reduce both utility costs and greenhouse gas emissions.
Southwest VA Higher Education Center
As part of SVHEC’s energy performance contract, 2rw developed an awareness campaign curriculum, created a custom-branded website, and designed outreach materials for an EnergyVibe program tailored to their unique audience.
Graceful Transitions, Inc.
The Graceful Girls Go Green (GGGG) Program is a nationwide effort to prepare girls ages 10-18 to educate their community about the importance of green living. 2rw helped Graceful Transitions fulfill its vision for the GGGG program by creating a website with an online certification system for community educators and resources for energy efficiency workshops.
Western Albemarle High School
2rw’s EnergyVibe team volunteered with Western Albemarle High School (WAHS) to support students and faculty in sustainability efforts and earned the “Creativity Award” as part of the Connect the DOTs for Schools Program.
Virginia Commonwealth University
2rw developed VCU’s Energy Challenge campaign to increase the university’s energy saving efforts. The campaign was part of a greater effort at VCU to fulfill Governor Mark Warner’s goal of reducing energy use by 10% in all commonwealth institutions.
Loudoun County (Business)
2rw is part of a team that is working to increase participation in Loudoun County’s existing Green Business Challenge (GBC). 2rw is focusing on outreach efforts and website development to help the County reach its goal of 100 participating businesses next year.
City of Alexandria
2rw built a virtual Green Building Resource Center (GBRC) that will serve as a hub for information about green building in Alexandria, Virginia. 2rw provided residents, businesses, and municipalities with technical resources in conjunction with Phase II of the City of Alexandria’s Eco-City Green Building Program.
Delaware Energy Office
The Delaware Energy Office hired 2rw to develop an Energy Savings Marketing Plan and deliver training seminars to the state government. Ensuring state employees were knowledgeable about conservation practices and were enthusiastic about sustaining those efforts in their own facilities resulted in increased efficiency and reduced energy bills.
Lake-Sumter Community College
2rw developed a five-part Residential Energy Efficiency Education Series for that covered “Top Five” low-to-no cost energy-saving actions in each room.
